On Friday, Bettws Hall launched a fundraising raffle for NHS Charities Together, Covid 19 Urgent Appeal. Over the last couple of weeks, they have been clapping for our carers, and listening to the community in Bettws Cedewain doing the same which is very moving. Whilst doing this their founders, Gwyn & Ann Evans have decided that they can do more to show our appreciation and support NHS staff and volunteers who are currently on the frontline of a battle that no one saw coming.
They are giving anyone the opportunity to enjoy a day in the countryside with friends and family when this is all behind us in October 2020, by donating a 400 bird days for a team at Vaynor Park. In return they are asking people to donate £100.00 (just £12.50 each if a syndicate of 8 wish to enter together) through our Justgiving page to enter in our draw, of which ALL proceeds will be sent direct to the charity. For every £100.00 donated, one ticket will be entered into the raffle.
