By now stocking BGA assured game, these new stockists are choosing the absolute best for their customers.
Since our last newsletter the British Game Alliance has on-boarded the below companies that plan to stock and promote assured game many having never stocked game before:
- Marriott Hotels
Marriott International is an American multinational diversified hospitality company that manages and franchises a broad portfolio of hotels around the world. They have 56 hotels throughout the UK including the illustrious Grosvenor House on Park Lane.
- My Fish Company
An independent, wholesale fish and seafood supplier based in the North West of England. Providing a wide variety of fresh, sustainably sourced fish and seafood from the UK and around the world to hotels & restaurants across the North West, will now be stocking and promoting game to their clients. Gary Apps, Founder and Managing Director of My Fish Company, said:“As a new stockist joining the BGA, it means we can promote game to our customers safe in the knowledge that accreditation and traceability is taken care of.”
- Splendid Hospitality and Grosvenor Pubs
Splendid Hospitality Group is one of the UKs fastest growing privately-owned hotel groups. Jason Myers, Founder and Managing Director of Splendid Hospitality and Grosvenor Pubs, explained: “The BGA assurance scheme is the perfect support service for the game sector and we are now using BGA assured game in all of our outlets.”
- Westminster Kingsway College
Westminster Kingsway College is a further education college in central London with centres in Kings Cross, London and Regent’s Park in Camden. “In this day an age when consumers, chefs and the retail sector scrutinise, quite rightly, all aspects of our food, we need to have an assurance of the good husbandry, quality and a traceability for all our game, as we have with all other meats.
