Do you know someone that is passionate about high standards in game shooting? The British Game Alliance (BGA) is now calling on the shooting community to nominate new candidates to fill 10 new places on its Advisory Committee. At present it is made up of the certification body (SAI), major shooting organisations and regional shoot representatives and is designed to advise the board and executive on the development of the Standards the BGA Assurance Scheme uses to bring self-regulation to shooting and to promote the consumption of game.
Chairman of the Advisory Committee, Dylan Williams, commented:
“The BGA only exists for the future wellbeing and benefit of shoots – large or small. We are looking for a greater presence of gamekeepers, representatives of the food sector and smaller shoots. Given we meet quarterly via Zoom, geographically no one is excluded. We are looking for nominations for who you think will promote your element of the sector in the most proactive and positive manner.”
